Simple DIY Easter art project for kids

Spring Break is HERE for many of us and you may be looking for egg-stra activities! While we think we sell the best craft kits for kids, anyone can have fun with some simple supplies you probably already have!

Materials Needed:

  • string, ribbon, or yarn (approximately 36 inches)

  • tape or a hole punch

  • coloring materials of your choice

  • a printed copy of eggs

Garlands are a fun way to celebrate any season and Easter is no egg-ception (I can't help myself)!

Print the attached file of black and white eggs and either color them before or after cutting them out. Cutting with scissors is great for developing the coordination and hand strength needed for writing.

Add color with markers, watercolor paint, crayons, colored pencils, or all of the above! I used both markers and watercolors and it sure was fun!

Once the eggs are decorated and dry, string them along your ribbon, twine, or yarn to display. You can tape them on or punch holes and thread them through.

We love to see your creations so share them with us on social media @frontporchartkits Have fun and have a wonderful week!
